Pregnancy & Newborn magazine loves the organic cotton giraffe baby changing pad as a “under $30″ mom must have.

Teen Vogue is featuring the bright orange apple hemp coin purse as a ten most wanted beauty buy.

Our bags are famous!

The spring issues of some of our favorite magazines have shown a lot of love for our handbags.

It started with Mar y Sol’s multi-colored opal clutch featured in Real Simple Magazine. Their “Trend worth trying” for April 2011 is bright stripes so of course our favorite striped raffia clutch made the page!

Next we found the recycled paper off the cuff wristlet from Rebagz featured in Parents Magazine. The cute red wristlet is one of their top picks for a great Mother’s Day Gift.

One of the spring’s best-sellers, the Guadeloupe handbag from Mar y Sol is seen in the pages of People magazine. The sunny yellow flower tote is a perfect fit for their summer styleboard.

We’ve been fans of the TreeHugger community long before Natural Luxe was born. Thrilled to discover that we made it into their Valentine’s Day Gift Guide!

Our inspiration for this article comes from World of Good‘s ethical fall fashion picks in honor of October being National Fair Trade month. Nikita Lynn Designs, one of our favorite designers at Natural Luxe, has the Ingrid wooden handle clutch featured on the site’s front page.

Nikita Lynn travels to India twice a year to complete her vision of handbags and accessories. Working directly with the people that will hand stitch and bead these beautiful clutches, wallets and totes, Nikita is able to connect with another culture and see the impact that her business has on their local economy.

Mar y sol is another perfect pick to celebrate ethical fall fashion. Earth Month 2010

Natural Luxe has partnered with Aveda to try and change this statistic. During the month of April, Aveda stores across the country will host special events to raise money for Global Greengrants and The Land Conservancy. All money raised will be used to protect our clean drinking water and promote water conservation.

At our local Aveda Lifestyle store, we have set up a display of eco-chic handbags, one of which will go home with a lucky raffle winner. It’s little steps that lead to bigger ones, we are priviledged to lend a hand in Aveda’s fundraising efforts. If you are in the Charlotte area please visit their store in the SouthPark Mall and spend a few dollars to support Earth Month 2010
